Taking to X, Thakur wrote, “I am delighted to announce that Michael Douglas, the distinguished Hollywood Actor, and Producer, shall be honoured with the distinguished Satyajit Ray Excellence in Movie Lifetime Award on the 54th Worldwide Movie Competition Goa. His deep love for our nation, is well-known, and we look ahead to welcome him, Catherine Zeta Jones, and their son, to essentially the most outstanding Movie Competition in South Asia to showcase our wealthy cinematic tradition and distinctive traditions at IFFI54!! A heartfelt welcome to Bharat and @IFFIGoa”Thakur talked about that Douglas alongside together with his spouse Catherine Zeta Jones and his son shall be attending this yr’s movie competition.
Douglas is understood for his movies like ‘Wall Road’, ‘Deadly Attraction’, ‘The China Syndrome’, ‘The American President’, ‘Fundamental Intuition’, and ‘Ant-Man’ amongst others.
