Jordan’s King Abdullah and Blinken discuss looming crisis of refugees from Gaza

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met Jordan’s King Abdullah in Amman on Friday who warned him that the Gaza warfare is prone to ignite a brand new Palestinian refugee disaster.

The king cautioned towards “any try and expel Palestinians from any of the Palestinian lands or trigger them to flee”, Jordan’s official information company Petra reported.

Late on Friday Mr Blinken will journey to Qatar, the Arab nation that’s the most nicely linked to Hamas after Iran.

Hamas, which is supported by Iran, took scores of hostages in its assault on Israel on the weekend, together with Americans.

Jordan has the longest borders with Israel.
