Mulugu (Telangana) [India], October 13 (ANI): The Drug Disposal Committee of Mulugu Police on Thursday destroyed round 757 kg of hashish price Rs 2 crore, stated police.
The hashish was burnt following commonplace working process after the choice of the drug disposal committee.
Mulugu SP Gaush Alam lit one of many heaps of seized hashish in an open space.
The hashish was seized at varied locations in Mulugu City, Pasra, Eturnagaram, Mangapet, Venkatapuram and another locations.
Mulugu SP Gaush Alam stated, “Yesterday, round 757 kg of medicine had been destroyed within the Mulugu district as per the choice taken by the Drug disposal committee. The medication are estimated at an acceptable worth of Rs 2 crore.””We now have registered seven circumstances and greater than 20 accused have been arrested and despatched for remand. Protecting the elections in view, the checking has elevated, illicit liquor and money and hashish are being seized and strict motion is being taken,” he added.
Earlier, on Tuesday, the Hyderabad Customs Commissionerate undertook the destruction of Narcotic Medicine and Psychotropic Substances weighing 216.69 kg.
In line with an official launch, the medication had been seized by Hyderabad Customs and Directorate of Income Intelligence (DRI), Hyderabad on varied counts, which embody Narcotic drug 27.9 kg heroin price 195.37 crores, Mephedrone price 272.55 crores and Hashish.
The above Narcotic Medicine had been seized from passengers of Nigerian, Benionoise, Tanzanian, South African and Indian origin on the Rajiv Gandhi Worldwide Airport, Shamshabad and different home locations by the officers of DRI and Hyderabad Customs. (ANI)
